Dr. Samantha Howard grew up in the small town of Plaza, Washington where she was raised on a farm. Whenever her parents couldn"t find her, they would check the barn where she was always found on the back of one of her horses. She competed in almost every discipline of riding, but her true love is reining.
Dr. Howard is a graduate of WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include: equine internal medicine, reproduction, neonatology and lameness. She also has interests in bovine, camelid, small animal internal medicine and ferrets. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her coonhounds Jethro, Ellie Mae and Woogie. She also has five ferrets, Mick, Gator, Mahoney, Tackleberry and Satchmo. She looks forward to serving the Ellensburg community with all of it's animal needs.
